Your points on ads reminds me of cricket in this country. Especially IPL, where the bombardment of ads reach new heights every year. But then cricket is a very ad friendly sport. Every 6 balls means 1 over. After 1 over, the captain decides on a new bowler and the field is set. This takes time, hence the perfect place to exploit with ads. Thus viewers don’t necessarily miss any live feed for the sake of ads.
