I have recently completed reading the biography of Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson and I have started understanding the meaning of the term Reality Distortion. Reality Distortion was used to describe how Steve Jobs was able to make almost impossible things happen through his mental will and persuasion. The term Reality Distortion came from Star Trek, in the Menagerie episode, it was used to describe how the aliens created their own new world through mental force.

The Economist wrote an incredible cover story about the bull run and trillion-dollar market cap of 5 tech firms — Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Google…

A few days back, I traveled in Bangalore-Chennai Shatabdi and on the way a goods train passed by, and I read signs on the wagons- SR, SER, NR, WR-the ‘R’ standing always for ‘Railway’, the other letters for the different regional branches of Indian Railway. This was a moment of epiphany for me, even the goods train in India is presenting India’s diversity.

As we sit down and read and watch about what is happening in Britain I feel leaders of that nation have failed their people. My belief in Karma gets reinforced. Nostalgia should hit the Queen about how…

Gandhi wrote in 1934, “I make no hobgoblin of consistency. If I am true to myself from moment to moment, I do not mind all the inconsistencies that may be flung on my face”. Gandhi’s life was consistently inconsistent. He was an imperfect genius and this was one of the reasons why he was able to bring national movement down from clouds to villages. People mobilized themselves because they saw someone amongst them leading the movement.

To me, one of the inconsistencies was the relationship between Gandhi and Sarladevi Chaudhrani. Sarladevi was three years younger to Gandhi and born to…

This is the part of the year when placement season kicks off and debates over companies, profiles, compensation, and locations become a daily chore in B-School campuses. I was in the same state a year ago, and after giving interviews in a few companies I got the job in TeamLease Services Limited. TeamLease is the largest people supply chain company of India working on the mission of Putting India to Work. It has a business interest in Employment, Employability, and Ease of Doing Business. TeamLease has a track record of giving jobs to more than 1.7 million candidates till date…

Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace, you

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope some day you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

John Lennon wrote these lines in 1971, and after 47 years we all are still the same dreamers and wishing the world to be one. …

This is our effort to promote International Women’s Day 2018 #PressforProgress campaign, we are doing it in the way Susan Fowler did in 2017, by writing. Let us begin with what Oprah Winfrey said on 7th January, 2018 while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille award at the 75th Golden Globes, “What I know for sure is that speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have. I’m especially proud and inspired by all the women who have felt strong enough, and empowered enough to speak up and share their personal stories. Each of us in this room are…

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently said that selling Pakoda should also be considered as employment. Hearing this some of the big Pakoda stores in metro cities have started hiring from Indian colleges.

Jumla Pakoda

Sambit Katra, owner of Jumla Pakoda, Connaught Place said, “In any way our turnover from selling Pakoda is way more than many tech startups in India. We thank Modi Ji for recognizing us. Pakoda industry is keen to hire talent from premier colleges and some of the Business Schools in India are already waiting for us with red carpet.”

This is a historic day in world of science when a leading research by Farzi Science Laboratory today found actual meaning of silence. Surprisingly it has nothing to do with any scientific parameter, acoustics or wavelength of sound wave.

Chaklu Sen, a Nobel Laureate scientist of Farzi Science Laboratory defines silence as following, “After a lot of research and tiring travels throughout many geographies and colleges, we define silence as absence of Gaurav Chopra’s voice.” Gaurav Chopra is a star and most loved MBA student of Blue Moon Institute of Management in Chennai, where his voice already echoes in every…

Recently Singapore Airllines got rid of its lease agreement with Dr. Peters and returned its first A380, the superjumbo. Singapore Airlines leased the jet from the German company Dr Peters Group for 10 years, and duly handed it back in the summer. The pioneering plane is now being stored on the ground while a buyer is sought. Three more end-of-lease aircraft will soon join it.

The plane’s maker, Airbus, and anyone with a financial interest in A380s desperately need something unprecedented to appear: a secondhand market for the double-deck jet. …
