Your’s truly… Your’s unconditionally?
Is there something like unconditional love, that subsists? We all want to imbibe moral values in our next generation. Things that we were taught. Virtues that we always strive to attain. Respect, tradition, values, sacrifice, compromise, adjustment. They make a better human being out of us. The more we chase the “prescribed” goals of life, the closer we get to GOD.
Do we wonder why does every action has a corresponding consequence? Are we living a barter system of deeds and so called misdeeds? Why do we pray and ask Almighty to grant a wish and promise something in lieu of it getting fulfilled? There has to be an unsaid, unwritten rule about how we map a certain human practice or thought to an outcome. Issac Newton’s third law of motion says, “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.” He surely would not have been introduced to the age old quotes like, “Give love, take love.” Give respect, take respect.” The other possible reason could be that he completely annulled the involvement of any kind of motility in Humanly Emotions.
Why don’t we have these values co-exist with the word “Unconditional?” Why not we talk to our children about “Unconditional love”, “Unconditonal respect”, “Unconditional prayers.” Are we not ready for a one way protocol, yet? The insecure within us purports that the only objective of giving something is expecting something in return. That too, in greater magnitude and more intensity.
