Redmi 7A

Xiaomi brand’s latest smartphoneRedmi 7A is an entry-level smartphone. The Redmi 7A has been significantly upgraded as compared to the Redmi 6A. The price of Redmi 7A in India starts at Rs 5,999. Xiaomi brand’s latest smartphone Redmi 7A has been introduced in the entry-level segment and comes with a new design, faster processor, bigger battery and better camera.

Redmi 7A : Design

The power and volume buttons will be on the right side of the

Redmi 7A phone, while on the left side of the phone, there will be a slot to attach two nano SIMs and a microSD card. With the help of MicroSD card it is possible to increase the storage up to 256 GB. The option to increase the storage is quite good as the storage in the 16 GB storage variant of the phone gets filled up quite quickly.

Recall that the quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 chipset was used in the Redmi 6A, in such a situation, the The MIUI 10 also has some handy features such as second space, this creates additional user profiles in the

Redmi 7A : Display and Performance

The Redmi 7A display is reflective and we find it in outdoor conditions. If it is compared to Realme C2, then its display is more vibrant. In Redmi 7A, users can change the temperature of the display, as well as increase the contrast. Just like earlier the border was given on the top and bottom of the smartphone, the same is also given in the Redmi 7A. But you have to remember that Redmi 7A is an affordable smartphone.

PUBG Mobile Boy was on the default low graphics settings and we noticed that the
Redmi 7A phone slowed down and the frames also dropped. But even then the game play was better than other smartphones coming in this price segment.

Redmi 7A : Camera and Battery life

The Redmi 7A has a 12-megapixel rear camera that takes crisp shots. Sharpness and colors were also captured well in the Redmi 7A picture when there was enough light. Pictures taken in daylight came out good. On seeing them on the big screen, you will notice the shallow depth and weak dynamic range but at this price it is not surprising. Indoor and low light photos did not get much good as they lacked sharpness and grains were seen with noise.

The

Redmi 7A phones look good on the phone’s screen but when zoomed in, they start showing grain. The selfie, taken in low light, lacked details, as well as a hint of noise with weak color reproduction. Redmi 7A can shoot 1080 resolution video at 30 frames per second. Overall, if we talk, Grain was seen in the video.

Redmi 7A : My decision

If you want to upgrade from a budget phone that is a few years old or if you are thinking of buying a phone to use the smartphone for the first time, then the
Redmi 7A is a good option. In this price segment, the direct competition of Redmi 7A will be from Realme C2 in the market. However, if you want additional camera for attractive design and better portrait shots, then Realme C2 is also a great option.
