You’ve probably a bunch of things in your closet right now that are qualify, and you didn’t even know it!

  1. Wear Vertical Stripes

Vertical stripes give the illusion that you’re super tall, even if you’re not. If you’re going to wear them, make sure they are vertical (not horizontal, unless you are aiming to draw the eyes across you).

2. Opt for High Waisted Bottom

They hit you at your waist which is the typically the smallest area of your stomach! Try to achieve the Golden Ratio which seems to define what proportions look best; that is, most attractive.

3. Tuck in your shirt

This is equally crucial if you’re working on the appearance of height. It is the same ideology as getting a high waisted bottom, aiming to achieve that perfect body ratio — the Golden Ratio.

4. Go Monochromatic

Monochromatic outfits are so in right now, they are impossible to screw up.

5. Choose micro prints

Especially if you’re petite, teeny-tiny prints can make a surprisingly big statement. Where as big prints tend to minimize, micro prints maximize (ahem, elongate)

6. Go for pointed shoes

Pointed shoes elongate your leg. And now that we think about it, it make a total sense! Pointed flats literally add 1–2" to your foot; or in heel form, this translate to 4" of height. 2" on the toe, and 2" on the heel (or more if you’re wearing 3" or 4" heels)

7. Don a V-Neck

V-Shaped necklines give the illusion of a longer torso. Longer = taller, and taller = goals. Can’t argue with this simple math!
