The iPhone SE 2020 model is a different smartphone in its price. In terms of features and target audience, the phone almost seems as though and it should be in a different product category. It is the cheapest phone in the iPhone company. The SE is not affordable by the Indian standards.

We are sure Apple has plans for a great launch event last March, but COVID-19 turned everything upside down and such plans were directly discarded. The announced date was 15 April 2020 and it got launched on 24 April 2020.

Apple iPhone SE features:

The body is made up of Aluminum frame, Gorilla Glass front with an oleophobic covering, Gorilla Glass back with a glossy finish, IP67 certified for water and dust resistance. It is available in Red, White, and Black color options. The OS is Apple iOS 13. The storage 64GB, 128GB or 256GB in-built storage is available. The screen is 4.7” 16M color LED-backlit IPS LCD screen of 750p resolution, 326 ppt. The battery life is 1,821 man battery, 18W fast charging, and wireless charging. The phone is water-resistant.

Apple’s official starting price is Rs. 42,500 for 64 GB iPhone SE, Rs. 47,800 for 128 GB and Rs. 58,000 for 256 GB. The iPhone SE has exactly the same design and display like the iPhone 8 from 2017. The results of the pictures taken from iPhone SE is similar to iPhone XS model of 2018, it also has the portrait mode.

Games like PUBG and Asphalt 9 run smoothly is the phone with HD graphics. The weight of the phone is 148g and 7.3mm thick. Other details include dual-SIM functionality with one physical Nano-SIM slot and one eSIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, NFC (though Apple Pay doesn’t work in India yet), and stereo speakers. It also has wireless charging. The quality of the camera in the night is not good.

Video recording goes up to 4K at 60fps, though the default is a more useful 1080p at 30fps. The video quality is excellent, with smooth stabilization even when walking, and strong colors that also balanced nicely. Even at night, it is able to pick out detail in reasonably well-lit areas.
