Ashwin Mehta is a Mumbai High Court and Supreme Court lawyer. He earned a law degree in his mid-50s and is now a busy lawyer, appearing before the Mumbai High Court and the Supreme Court. He battled various court proceedings alone to clear his brother’s identity and paid approximately Rs 1,700 crores to banks. He is well-known as Harshad Mehta’s brother. He was born in the Gujarat district of Rajkot, in the town of Paneli Moti. Shantilal Mehta, his father, owned a textile company, and his mother was a housewife.
