Of all the places that I have been to, Bali would always hold special place in my heartĀ . Bali is one of the most beautiful island in Indonesia. Itās an astounding place with natural beauty and ethnic panoramaĀ . Bali is conventionally known as ā Island of Godās",ā Island of Paradiseā because of its scenic view and green environment. And believe me Nature is best way forget your worries and breath fresh to evolve again.
We stayed in for one week and explored Tanah Lot Temple, Ulun Danu Batur temple, seminyak beach, Jimbaran beachĀ , Tanjung benoa beachĀ , Bounty cruises.
Tanah Lot Temple:
Temple above the rock
Itās stands on a rocky island along the southwest coast of BaliĀ . There is shrine on the rock and holy place to worship Balinese sea Godās. Itās a sea temple with a amazing sight especially during sunset. You can find souvenir shops and cafes where you can sit and enjoy magnificent sight. The temple is said to be guarded by sea snakes from the evil.
Ulun Danu Batur Temple:
Also known as ā Water templeāĀ , is baliās most famous touristic attraction. The breath taking landscape and stunning lake of beratan surrounding the temple along with mountains of bedugul with clouds touching the top gives it Paradise feel.
Floating temple
Bulit in 1556 ADĀ , itās purpose is to worship the holy TrinityĀ , Brahma Vishnu Shiva, as well as Devi Danu goddess of lake.
Jimbaran Beach:
Jimbaran beach is romantic getaway for every couple with beautiful sunset ( the sunset picture at top of page is taken from jimbaran beach)Ā ,candle light dinnersĀ , firecrackers, seafood and music with bands playing guitars. It would remain the most memorable and emotional evening for meĀ , facing the seaĀ , soothing sand beneathĀ , sound of sea wavesĀ , firecrackers above and guitarist playing my favorite song of Bryan AdamsĀ . Thatās was epic night we danced and run along the shoreĀ .
Located in the south coast of BaliĀ , itās just 20 minutes away from Ngurah Rai international airport. Covered with clean sandĀ , beach stretches around 4 km and have pretty small cafes called Warungs. Famous Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue is visible from beach.
Around the evening
Tanjung Benoa Beach:
The beach is totally dedicated to various marine recreational activitiesĀ andĀ spasĀ toĀ relaxĀ . You may avail many water sports like sea walk, kitesurfingĀ , banana boat rideĀ , jet skiingĀ , parasailingĀ . I enjoyed Banana boat ride of all and was screaming with joyĀ , parasailig was bit scary for me as I am scared of height but I was full precautious to hold my rope tight and smield through it š.
Along the sea š
Bounty cruises:
Sailing across the sea with live music and disco deck along with sports and few couple gamesĀ . As the evening unfolds the music, the dance, the melody lifting up it all and kiss under the moon was cherry on topĀ .
Deck view
Rishi VillaĀ , Umalas:
Our stay was at Rishi Villa Umalas just 15 mins away from Denpasar international airport. We stayed there for 5 daysĀ , the pool was clean and rooms were neat and tidy.
Food & Food š:
Food tells a very basic and original stories of the particular space with taste and process of making it. We had satvik food at Umalas at Vedic Kitchen. Itās popular local restaurant for simple food without onionĀ , garlic and less spices.
Vedic Kitchen
We had BBQ pork ribs and fried pork rice and chicken curry with baked beans in Seminyak beach at WahWah restaurant.
Chicken curry tasted completely different some herbs gave it absolutely delightful aroma and it was not same as we prepare here in India. Pork was best definitely to be tried of you are there.
While going to Tanah lot temple we encountered a lovely cafe on a hill bear road named Ananta Boga. They have a very unique and nice seating area and good foodĀ . It was yummy and fulfilling. We had French fries with Cold coffee ice cream.
Ananta Boga
The coffee plantation is very much popular there and you can taste coffee from around the world.
One more amazing thing about Bali, they have best supermarkets you get everything and anything from beverages to food. Pepito is good one.
I had lots of bintags ( local beer) and vines and swimmed along having best time of my life š.
Do convert your currency for hassle free money transfer. May is best month to travelĀ . Book yourself a good Villa as they are easily available and some are cheap too considering in terms of dollar, poundĀ , euros and rupees.
You may avail various packages which includes everything from food to hotels to transport.
Bali will remain with you foreverĀ . Once the covid crisis is over I need to go there for rejuvenation.
