There’s no hiding from this son
- Dunkirk, 2017

Maybe because I watched the movie today or maybe I continued re-reading Robert Moore’s book on KWML, the thought of War is on my mind.

War, War — there’s a kind of war that’s happening right now, in our world — a war that may not be easily noticed, but a war on our bodies and minds. A war that’s waged against the population, by the Elite, to put us to sleep (and profit), to kill the individual in us. The individual cannot be controlled, only the sheep can be.

To escape the scene and move towards knowing my individuality, there’s a need to have the intensity of the mature Masculine energies. A true Man steps up to become a warrior (a Masculine archetype), learning to live on the edge, and now, it’s more important than ever to know the ways of the Warrior.

How? Three principles come to my mind:

1. In all the things he does, a Warrior acts as if his life depended on it.
After a couple of escalations last week at work, I saw that I was taking things too casually and not giving my full. I took things for granted and my slip was very costly at the end. I’m now committed to do the work, small or large, as if my life depended on it. When I did as per my commitment on Friday, I found a strong sense of focus and completion…

2. Above all, a Warrior knows his Purpose.
There was a time when I thought I knew the purpose of my life. A little push from the outside from my teachers and I realize I have no clue. I wanted to be cool, Yup, I wanted to be loved, Hell yeah, I wanted to be rich, yaay. But, my true purpose? Lol. For this, allow me to copy-paste the words of my Sensei (http://www.mountainviewaiki.com/blog/):

“To wake up, to mature is a consious battle, and this has been called by many names — the West has callled it “The Magnum Opus” the great work, the east has many names for it including becoming a Jaina — he who has conquered himself, or a Chakravati — the conqueror of the three worlds (heaven, earth and hell — the highest self, the body and the shadow). What I am saying is that this is “eating the bitter”, meaning, having the balls and courage to see yourself for who you are before you can start the path of becoming. On this oscillation between being (the stillness, peace pure essense) and being (that striving, goal orientation and doing) what is most important is Radical Honesty, Radical Courage (the ability to act eve when you are afriad), Radical Surrender (to surrender ones ego to the process and self, and that which points to the self) and Radical Action (doing the right thing when no one is watching, keeping your word esp when it is inconvenient and truly choosing to act in a way that is beneficial to the system, not just you).
So this is the path, this is the journey. Remember ambition and acting in self interest is easy.. even parasites and bacteria do it, that is the world of reaction, the world of being at effect, the world of unconsciousness. The world I am trying to take you into is the world of consioussness and action, not reaction. So I will close this with one thing that sums it all up. AMBITION, PLEASURE AND CONQUEST WITHOUT CONTRIBUTION ARE OF NO SIGNIFICANCE. As you begin the path of working on becoming men, and some of you striving to become teachers remember this. Teaching is not for the pussies or the faint at heart. It is the path of consiously shaping another few generations. So my question to you is ‘What kind of a world are you going to leave behind, what is your example going to be for your children, for your friends, for your lover, for your community?’ Let that marinate you”

3. A Warrior doesn’t just accept obstacles, he has the courage to destroy. The need for destruction and destruction with responsibility and going beyond acceptance has been an idea that I’ve been toying with, for sometime. Beautifully put by my Sensei:

“Dont accept them (the obstacles), let them destroy you. Read again, don’t try to accept them, let them destroy you.
For the egg has to be destroyed so the catepillar can emerge.
The caterpillar has to be melted out into the cacoon and the cacoon has to be broken open/destroyed so that butterfly can emerge.
Acceptance means acknowledging the new while holding on firmly to the old.
Destruction means jumping in head first and being saved..
(Do you) Get it?”

I tell myself, to read and re-read the principles, do my best to live them, every single day, the war could be won.
