For the most part, I agree. However, I believe that we should always be questioning new trends and ideas since we must have the ability to foresee the consequences that they will bring further down the line. Cultural trends are a reflection, a manifestation of society’s current way of thought. Therefore, it is crucial to always question mainstream culture since it is one of the major factors that determines how the majority will behave in the present and in the future.
