Nice summary Nalin. My sense is that traditional companies are struggling to grasp this network-based approach. It is not easy to redesign the organisation this way when your processes and structure have been hierarchical for so long. Also there is still a strong belief in the connection between organisations and employment. Organisations that can show the value they create for society through job creation are courted by government. So where real value is created in organisations today and where people want to see value being created are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Interesting debates ahead…
