API Web3

API3 is leading the transition from legacy third-party oracle networks to first-time oracle solutions that provide greater security, efficiency, regulatory compliance and simplicity.
API3 is a DAO-driven project to create dAPI — fully decentralized APIs with native blockchains — that will be configured, managed, insured and monetized at scale using API3 DAO. With dAPI, API3 aims at the API concept to take the next evolutionary step to meet the inevitably stringent requirements for Web 3.0 decentralization without the use of third-party intermediaries.

API3 provides Oracle data streams to smart contract developers that:
Exclude intermediaries
Quantitatively safe
Truly decentralized
Provide transparency of the source
secure — decentralized secure network
API3 provides dAPI users with the possibility of insurance on the network based on the API3 token and decentralized Kleros vessels. The API3 insurance feature gives dAPI users a quantifiable security system in the event of a failure, puts the API3 DAO directly responsible for dAPI security, and encourages a security-oriented management approach for dAPI and the API3 project as a whole.
Cross-platform — the ability to connect to any blockchain
As a multi-level cross-platform data processing solution, dAPI can be connected to any block chain to provide smart contracts on various platforms with reliable access to premium real-world data. API3’s cross-platform approach allows any smart contract platform to use the API3 ecosystem, consisting of dAPI and data integration tools, simply by creating a bridge between API3 and the network.
API3 Token
API3 is a proprietary token of the API3 project, which grants its holders full rights to manage the API3 DAO and acts as collateral in the data feed insurance pool. The inclusion of API3 in the data flow insurance pool brings the stake holder a regulated share of data flow revenue, as well as inflationary rewards from placing bets.
The founders of API3 are Heikki Vianttinen, Burak Benlijiraj and Sasha Milic.
Vianttinen and Benlijirai met as part of a previous joint project in the field of decentralized oracles, and Milic joined the project after she quit her job at Facebook to continue her interest in decentralized technologies. Heikki has extensive business experience, Benlijirai has a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Electronics, and Milich has a Master of Applied Computing.
Existing oracle solutions use third-party oracles because API providers often cannot manage their own oracle nodes. The API3 data channels will consist of third-party oracles managed by API providers. This will be possible thanks to Airnode, a completely serverless oracle node that does not require know-how, maintenance, or maintenance by an API provider. Airnode is an open source project that will be supported by API3 and does not require the use of a specific payment token.
API3 will use second-tier solutions to be able to use a large number of oracles and advanced aggregation methods, not limited to Ethereum gas prices. Although the API3 DAO is located in Ethereum, the data will be aggregated on xDai and transmitted over the bridge to Ethereum and other smart contract platforms. For particularly important use cases, dAPI native to the main network will be used as fault-tolerant. The insurance service described above will allow the user to get a lower cost allowed by the scaling solution without being exposed to its risks.
The project boasts excellent investors :
Emurgo ,Pantera ,Blocko , CoinFund, dlab, equilibrium, placeholder etc
The project also organizes a program for ambassadors , in which it is worth taking an active part
Thank you all for your attention )
