We’re focusing so much on brand and forgetting the concept. Pokemon is a strong concept with great appeal, around which strong brand equity and loyalty was built.
The reason why other visible franchise brands don’t have as successful games is that their concepts are not as strong.
There’s more to Pokemon than just thinks big about traditional hacking techniques, there’s a strong history coupled with technology.
