How Do We Make An App Stick?

Here’s how our current UI looks like:

There’s a flow to it, looks decent and is loose enough for us to incorporate more features at a later stage. However, playing with it for a few days made me realize the distinction between a “utility app” and an “app you play with”. This UI is firm in the utility app camp- think Zomato, Swiggy, Foodpanda. 
We want Slurp to be the “app you play with” category- apps like Swarm, Crown It, Time hop.

We are hitting the reset button and want to change things one last time. Some of the stuff in our mood board:

Also we’ve applied at some incubators in Bangalore and Delhi. Let’s see how that pans out.
