the optimistic view put forth in the article, i have to confess, did put in a good mood(can’t blame it , the channel is about positive takes on the future). But the exaggerated predictions did sound alarm bells in mind. As mikekav pointed out it the combination of AI and electric engine will cause a lot of disruption to existing labour markets in near future. And not to forget the majority source of power still will be coal and natural gas(oil industry is still going to be around for a while, whether one likes it or not). But, to put a positive spin on it, the advancement in electric drivetrain will certainly boost mass rapid transit system, making them more efficient to operate.
