Audacity IT Solutions Brings How I Work

What do all great men and women have in common? They always follow their dreams and never shied away from taking bold steps. And that is exactly what the founders of Audacity IT Solutions did. Throwing caution to the wind alongside well paying, secure jobs in renowned firms, Siddiq Abu Bakkar, Suraiya Akter and Zahidur Rahman Faisal set out on an audacious task of setting up their own IT company. So it is only fitting that they named their endeavor Audacity IT Solutions Ltd.
Back in 2012, when they were still university students, the audacious trio already harbored dreams of having their own IT firm and thus the seeds of Audacity IT Solutions were sown.
After graduating, they accepted job offers from well known firms, but never really gave up on Audacity. During the initial stages, there was a time when they had to juggle between their academics, professional life and Audacity IT. Unable to cope up, friends who had been working with them, as well as some founding members, dropped out of the project, but our audacious trio persevered.

During the later stages of 2014, Audacity IT started receiving orders from prominent clients and attracted investors’ interest, which prompted the founders to ask the question- ‘Do we keep our boring day jobs, or do we focus full time on Audacity?’ Well, you don’t really need to be a rocket scientist to figure out their decision! Specializing in mobile app development, graphics designing, as well as web applications, Audacity IT Solutions has provided their services to reputed organizations. Due to their increasing work, Audacity IT is already looking to increase their workforce to better serve its clientele.
Team Audacity, looking to do something for the Bangladeshi community, wanted to set up a new project. The founders, Siddiq in particular, were regular followers of popular website Lifehacker’s How I Work section. This section features CEOs, top officials and entrepreneurs of renowned international startups and organizations about how they manage their time, boost productivity, and so on.
This set them to thinking- why don’t we do something similar focusing on Bangladeshi individuals who have been successful in their own fields so that local readers can know more about them and find out great tips and tricks on being more efficient and productive at both work and personal lives. Thus, the How I Work website was launched on 1st January 2015 with help from Mamun Morshed, founder and not to mention an integral part of the project.
The site has five categories: Businessman, Entrepreneur, Software Engineer, Designer and Icon and features people who have been successful in these fields. These people are asked about how they work, and they reveal their work ethics, tips and tricks on how they get their work done, what they do to get rid of stress from their daily lives, and so on. Three more categories will soon be added- Women Empowerment, Non Resident Bangladeshis (NRB) and Expatriate Entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. The Expatriate section in particular would be highly interesting as it would focus on foreigners investing and operating businesses in Bangladesh despite the numerous obstacles prevalent in the country. Seeing the Bangladeshi business scene from a foreigner’s perspective could reveal great insights into Bangladesh’s business sector, from which budding local entrepreneurs could be highly benefited.

User feedback so far has been very positive, and Siddiq reports feedback has actually surpassed their expectations. The readers have been hugely inspired by the articles, and all opine that they have learned amazing tricks about improving their work and personal lives.
A quick view of the website will instantly reveal a major reason behind the huge success of the project in such a short time. It has a simplistic layout- another testament of the designing creed that less is actually more, and the interview questions are short, succinct and perfectly to the point. Audacity IT has also released an Android app for the site, and an iOS app is soon to follow. In fact, within just ten days of being launched, the Android app has made its place among the top 30 apps (currently in the 23rd position) in the Top Free News and Magazine apps category in Google Play Store- yet another testament of Audacity IT’s high quality of work.
The founders thank their amazing team, without whose hard work and dedication, none of these would have been possible. Support from ex-colleagues, help from mentors, as well as unquestioned backing from friends and family have also been monumental in Audacity’s journey.
The level of appreciation they have received from readers has also inspired team Audacity, and they surely deserve all the positive feedback they have received. I personally found the How I Work website highly useful and the articles were very interesting and inspiring to say the least. So here’s a salute to the brains behind the project, and I for one, would definitely want to see great new things from them!
