RouteValet is a multimodal transportation optimization application based on proprietary and patent-pending algorithms that successfully combines private and public transit. RouteValet’s technology takes ride requests from users and creates optimal routes by combining both public and private transit options.
RouteValet is run by co-founders Motti Sigal and Ilan Friendson. Sigal came to the idea of RouteValet when he was sitting in an uber in New York, stuck in traffic. He realized his ride was going to cost him $100. He said to himself, “Why isn’t anyone doing Uber for public transit?” So, Sigal decided to take it upon himself, and created RouteValet.
*Fun Fact-One of Sigal’s big hobbies is gardening. He can also speak rudimentary Japanese!
