Increase your product’s visibility with Siftery’s Trending Products feed

Trending Products is a dynamic list of the most recommended products, promoted to Siftery’s community including investors, journalists, and software buyers at tens of thousands of companies.

Products are sorted by functional role and ranked by the number of recommendations they’ve received from verified company users in the past 30 days. Products that maintain a high percentage of positive recommendations receive an additional boost. There are a few ways to collect recommendations from your customers:

When customers visit the link, they will be prompted to verify and recommend your product, giving you an immediate boost.

Adding customers
Adding customers not only increases your chance of trending, but also gives your product additional credibility by allowing users to see a list of customers that trust you with their business.

When you add customers to your profile, we reach out to Siftery users working at those companies asking them to verify and recommend your product.

• Privacy protection: We protect your customer list and limit users to only being able to view up to 120 customers that are most similar to their own company.
• Upload customers: You can manually add customers by typing their company name or URL, or you can upload a CSV file (company names, e-mails, or domains work best!).

We’ve built Trending Products as a way to showcase the most highly recommended products to the Siftery community. Here are just a few of the many benefits that come with being featured as a Trending Product:

• Product creator stories: When your product begins to trend, we’ll reach out to learn more about your company’s story. Interviews are published on our site and promoted to the business and tech communities.
• Snapshots and historical trends: We’re taking snapshots at the end of each month and making them publicly accessible. Once your product rises to the top one month, that will stay on display. We’ll also be showcasing trends over time.
• Increased visibility: Trending Products is a live view of the products receiving the most adoption and love and is promoted to all of our users.

What’s a “wildcard” and how does my product become one?
Wildcards are products that the Siftery team has highlighted and will temporarily appear higher up in the Trending Products feed. Typically, wildcard status lasts for 3 days.
