Haris Rauf is a Pakistani cricketer who was born on November 7, 1993, in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He is a right-arm fast bowler who plays for the Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and has represented Pakistan in international cricket. Early Career:

Haris Rauf’s cricketing journey began when he started playing tape-ball cricket in his hometown Rawalpindi. Tape-ball cricket is a popular form of cricket played on the streets and alleys of Pakistan with a tennis ball wrapped in electrical tape. Haris’s talent caught the attention of his friends and family, who encouraged him to pursue the sport.

Haris Rauf’s first professional cricketing experience came in 2017 when he played for the Northern Punjab cricket team in the Inter-District Under-19 tournament. He impressed with his performances in the tournament and was subsequently picked by the Lahore Qalandars in the trials for their development squad.

PSL debut and breakthrough:

Haris Rauf’s breakthrough moment came when he was selected for the Lahore Qalandars in the 2019 Pakistan Super League (PSL). He was initially picked as a back-up player but was given an opportunity to play in the team’s second match due to an injury to one of the team’s regular bowlers. Haris Rauf grabbed the opportunity with both hands and took 2 wickets for just 25 runs in his four overs.
