VeraCrypt is a fork of TrueCrypt that’s still maintained. It also apparently fixes some vulnerabilities that were in TrueCrypt. I haven’t used it (or TrueCrypt for that matter other than messing around with it a little), but from what I’ve seen, it seems to be the most popular alternative.
