Nope sorry this is the worst sort of straw man, and why “young companies” also justify giving their people shitty benefits or none at all. I’ve now scaled multiple small startups and all that’s required to make it work is some financial common sense and a little imagination.
You have a right to be paid fairly for your labor, regardless of age. Paying people fairly for making your dream happen is the cost of this work. If you can’t meet that obligation to your employees then you should go out of business.
