I totally understand your perspective, but what you’re essentially saying is “be a damn good, professional writer before writing anything.” There are lots of posts on Medium and other websites that I find frivolous and uninteresting, however I skip those posts if I don’t feel like reading them.

Writing, just like singing, rapping, dancing, playing an instrument, reciting poetry, etc., takes a lot of practice. I posit that people who put their work on Youtube or Medium are in fact putting themselves out there, bleeding on pages and opening up the ugliest parts of themselves for the world to see (especially the latter or you wouldn’t have written this post).

Maybe what these aspiring writers and performers need is constructive criticism, not judgement and discouragement.
