Pizza

With pizza there’s room for every taste, and its crust is the perfect platform for self-expression. The conservative can sit at the same table with the progressive and neither cares or tries to talk the other out of enjoying their slice even if it’s different than theirs. Most people don’t care if another likes their pizza with white sauce instead of tomato or even if they like theirs with the dreaded anchovies!

I don’t know if you’ve ever thought that pizza had anything profound to teach you. Most of us just love eating it. Recently however, I revisited a post I wrote in August of 2013 called, “The Democracy of Pizza” and I couldn’t help but notice how the message of this lighthearted post was even more relevant today…and so I was immediately inspired to revise it a bit and bring to you, once again, its simple message of community and connection.
