Simba TGE Announcement: Public Sale and Future
Dear Simba community,
The last few days have been a crazy roller coaster ride for everyone in our community. We have launched a public sale campaign with the mission to launch one of the first community-owned DeFi protocols on the Sei network. We have chosen Seedify, GameFi, and Enjinstarter as the platforms and are extremely pleased with the incredible response on these platforms, with more than 10,000+ participants. We are grateful to everyone who committed funds to the round, believing in the potential of Simba and our mission—the total amount raised was around $450K (in the first phase of the IDOs).
Our goal was to raise capital on launchpads in stablecoins on ETH and BNB, distributing Simba tokens on the Sei network. However, our community is facing challenges in setting up new wallets, and our contributors are encountering difficulties in bridging tokens in and out of the Sei network. The user experience of participating in Simba’s public sale, receiving tokens, and trading can be improved and made more efficient, as two things are expected to happen in the near future:
- Sei network technology becomes more stable and reliable. We hope that with the support of the Sei Foundation and collaboration, Simba will achieve this faster for our community
- Simba’s mainnet product will provide a reliable trading infrastructure not only for Simba tokens on the Sei network but also for all the projects and tokens on the Sei network
With the above context in mind,
“We have decided to pause the public sale and refund everyone who participated in the public sale. We will be working closely with our launchpads to process refunds. Please reach out to the respective launchpad community groups regarding your claims.”
We will launch a public sale at a later time along with a functional Simba product on the Sei Mainnet. Stay tuned to our official announcements. Our core contributors are developing a stronger roadmap for the future.
