Yet, another ranking (Top 120?). Two Michigan universities ranked in the top-120 of world universities, according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings…https://lnkd.in/g_qwfgYM. The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor is the first Michigan university to feature on the rankings, slotting in at №23 globally. The next highest-ranking Michigan university is Michigan State University at №116.

Wayne State University in Detroit ranked in the №501–600 range. Oakland University, Central Michigan University and Western Michigan University ranked between №1001–1200.

Students: Pay attention to what matters most- maybe not rankings…especially at the undergrad level. If you are a student majoring in something, but your school is not on some list, do not worry about it! I am 99.9% certain that you are still getting a world class education that is extremely comparable to the schools on the list. In fact, in some ways, you might be getting a better education (i.e., smaller classes, closer mentors, better ROI maybe, etc.). Note also, all rankings are somewhat suspect. At the undergraduate level, pay less attention to the brand and reputation of the school, and pay attention to your major (i.e., does demand exceed supply which means you will have multiple job offers upon graduation) and make great…
