An infp lost her mother to Cancer. She goes to Italy following her mother's last wish for her.
Being too focused on her Introverted feeling Fi and Introverted Sensing Si, she needs to develop her extroverted intuition Ne so she can engage with the world, socialize, be more spontaneous, less nerdy and judgemental.

Thanks to the help of an INFJ, ESFP, ENFJ, her ESFJ best friend and ENTJ boy challenging her, she will go on a self discovery journey using her mother diary, learning from her past and trying new things in an extroverted open environment in Rome and Florence.

For the book fans, it's a complementary adaptation which is not meant to supersede the book and it can never do it.
Having both the book and the movie gives a "bigger picture" and allows accessing new dimensions that we can't find in the book or in the movie.
