Sexual orientations: What I’d like to know
Michael C. Seto published a great overview of what we know about sexual orientations (in more general meaning of the term) in his paper The Puzzle of Male Chronophilias. Springer decided to allow free access to the article for two months and I recommend everyone to read it. Inspired by the article I decided to create a brief list of what I’d like to know. In some cases there may be some relevant papers published and if you know it to be the case, please provide a link to the paper in comments. Also you can say what else you would like to know regarding sexual orientations.
How do homosexual pedophiles compare to heterosexual pedophiles and to homosexual teleiophiles?
Do heterosexual pedophiles and homosexual pedophiles differ in correlates like left-handedness, minor physical anomalies, white matter amount and distribution or brain activity patterns as a result of presenting sexual stimuli?
Do characteristics that correlate with homosexual teleiophilia also correlate with homosexual pedophilia?
Multiple orientations
How common are people attracted to multiple distanced groups? E.g. prepubescent boys and women (but not men), prepubescent children and elderly (but not young adult people), masculine men and feminine women (but not androgynous men).
Pedophilia in women
Are there same correlates with pedophilia in women as in men? What pattern of brain activities do female pedophiles have as a response to sexual stimuli? What is the response to images of faces of various groups?
Romantic attraction
Some people report being attracted romantically to a different group than the one they are sexually attracted to. How common is that? Can the differences be demonstrated by some objective method?
Do pedophiles differ in character/capability of romantic feelings?
