Building an Alternative Olympic Medal Table
Simon Rogers

I am confused about the table. USA has a population of 325 million and has 74 medals (at time of writing). UK has a population of 65 million and has 41 medals. When I look at the Population tab it lists USA on 42 medals and UK on 29. Doesn’t make sense to me. USA is winning 23 medals per 100 million population but UK is winning 63 per 100 million population. How can US be be listed ahead of UK?
