Rize will track your activities in your operating system's background, such as which websites you visit and which software you open. So, Rize is not just a Pomodoro timer software, it's more like a "black box" for your computer. When you enter focus mode, in addition to timing, it also records what you did on your computer during the focused time. Aside from timing and recording, Rize also reminds you when you're distracted.

Rize has four modes for its Timer. When you want to enter focus mode, simply press the “Start Focus” button.

When the time is up, it helps you review what you were doing during the last 40 minutes and gives you a score for your focus.

You can always check back on what did you do with your focus sessions.

Daily Review

Additionally, you can create projects in Rize and each time you press “Start Focus,” select the project label. It will automatically accumulate the total time you have spent on that project.

Here’s the referral link for Rize: https://rize.io/?code=4BC0F4&name=Simon note that if you register and install Rize using this link, I won’t receive any bonus, but if you choose to pay, I’ll be able to use the app for free for a month.

Rize operates on a subscription model, even after the one-month free trial period, it can still be used for free. The difference between the free version and the paid version is that you can only see the data of the current day, so even if you don’t pay, it can still be used as a tool to protect your attention and cultivate your focus habit.
