Hi Miguel,

Whenever I try using yaourt -S cudnn, yaourt resports

Packages (1) cudnn-7.0.1–1

Since I’m after v5.1 and that’s the version I have in the Downloads folder (which is my current working directory), it appears it’s choosing a download over my local copy. The full name of the local zip file is cudnn-8.0-linux-x64-v5.1. However, whenever I try using that, yaourt reports:

error: target not found: cudnn-8.0-linux-x64-v5.1
warning: ‘cudnn-8.0-linux-x64-v5.1’ is a file, did you mean -U/ — upgrade instead of -S/ — sync?

Do you have any idea how to progress? Using python-tensorflow-cuda from Arch packages seems to install the wrong cudnn (v7.0.1–1 again funnily enough).

Thanks and regards,

Simon
