i experimented with it late last night, and this evening switch my macbook back on and it was there already to go, just opened my browser and went to one of my .dev sites and it loaded, no having to vm up etc and wait.

Also using the same dev site/project and comparing it being on say homestead, the initial set up was blazingly fast composer / npm install, then gulp etc was just there, no having to wait to download and run etc

well recommended, especially if your not requiring any major server stuff (i say stuff, as don’t know much), but as whats totally possible with out a vm, i have yet to discover or fail one.
