Such a beautiful piece of writing and such a poignant personal story; kudos to you, Jeff for having the courage and grace to acknowledge your grief on a day when so many are celebrating and being celebrated. And for founding the Pablove foundation, which is helping so many. Pablo must be so proud of you. ❤
Aww Larry, thanks for taking the time and effort to write such a generous and personal comment. I feel wonderful knowing that my small piece not only got read but also made enough of an impact on you that you pondered on it and wrote to me, here. Deeply appreciated.
Thank you for this, Lily. I loved your piece so much that it inspired me to write one of my own! I would love for you to read this and tell me what you think :-) PS: It started out with me commenting on your article but when it went over 500 words, I figured I might as well publish it as a piece. Needless to say, you are an inspiration. Keep doing what you do, coz you do it so well.
Stunningly well written, incredibly helpful and I’m going to stop using such superlative adverbs or it might look too ass-kissy. I’ve bookmarked this to remind me of what to do. And it’s inspired me to write a piece on what not to do as a mentor, based on a true story after I hired and was compelled to fire three interns who approached me for jobs. All in a matter of weeks…
This is a very illuminating interview, loved reading it and have learned much. I just have one thing to point out and it’s not about the interview but the description of Writing Routines, after the interview ends. There’s an 'a' missing, as in Writing Routines is 'a' close look….
Thank you, Shara! Right now my fingers are doing all the dancing, on the keyboard, as I type away my articles. Your encouragement is deeply appreciated :-)
