Self-Driving Cars: Have We Completely Lost Our Minds?

This reminds me of an opinion piece written in 1899 about how automobiles were all well and good but because they could assume a reasonable degree of autonomy when the driver fell asleep the way horses did, and whilst there were horses still on the roads to posed a danger to the new automobiles, the new fangled automobiles ought to be banned.

At least til the gubermint could build them their own roads and keep everyone safe…
