It’s the final countdown

Wikipedia exploded in my youth and provided a great deal of insight into the world that I was relegated to scrounging for in limited newspaper access, outdated encyclopedias hardcovers and the ever increasingly expensive scientific journal subscription. The Internet has produced a plethora of information that has thrown society into new views, new cultures and new ideas to extend our education as individuals and as communities further than ever experienced before, something Wikipedia has been at the forefront of encouraging for years.

WikiTRIBUNE seeks to extend what Wikipedia started as we experienced a surge in complicated and disconnected raw information with the advent of easy-access to waves of unfiltered white noise data and opinions in the Age of Information by providing the same definition, sourcing and detailed explanation of news. I can’t wait to take part in this and see it grow into a brilliant hub for bright young minds.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
