My 20’s Bucket List
I recently turned 20 years old. First off, I’m proud of what I accomplished in my late teen years. I’ve travelled countless miles, learnt beyond my age & created tools for change. Still, I’m optimist theres more out there for me to see & do.
It wasn’t until coming accross the following quote I decided to set some guidelines for what would be the next 10 years of my life.
“Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years.” — Bill Gates
He’s right & it wouldnt be my fate. I need to be ambitious while keeping the perfect balance of work, life & thrilling adventures. For the past week, I reflected & drafted 10 goals.
Heres what I plan to accomplish in the next 10 years.
- Summit a Himalayan peak
- Learn to code
- Publish a magazine
- Ride a bicycle across a continent
- Build a cabin
- Bring my family on an adventure
- Screen a film I made in a theatre
- Find a solution to a threatening global issue
- Build a community centre
- Sail across a ocean
Simply, one by one, year by year. Each with a purpose & a mission for change. Although, most importantly for my own happiness.
