Si’s Story

My name is Simon Jones, I was born and raised in Omaha Nebraska. I had a great childhood with loving parents, a guiding older sister, and a annoying younger brother. Life was fine, until I was diagnosed with Desmoplastic small round cell tumor (DSRCT), cancer. This was over 3 years ago, back in January of 2013. I’ve gone through dozens of treatments: chemotherapy, radiation, clinical trials, etc.. People have always said that I’ve been strong throughout my battle with cancer, but this blog isn’t just going to be about me and my struggle against cancer, it’s going to be an outlet for advice, a way for me to serve others. I’m making this blog because I need to make this world a better place, and I need to start now. I am going to die, whether my death is soon because of cancer or if it is later because of who knows what, so I am going to make this blog as way to give people advice and ideas that will be able to help the world even after my death.
