I agree that Cryptocurrencies represent the future of money, and I think bitcoin will be a global reserve, like a better and digital gold.
But I gotta say this:

In any case, you and Roubini seem to have forgotten a basic principle from finance: Bitcoin, and every other crypto, is worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it. That’s what gives it its value. I don’t understand why prominent economists all the way down to lay people can’t understand this.
