Perfect Person of All Time
Today, the Imam talked about the attractiveness and physical beauty of our prophet Muhammad (pbuh). We have not seen him but our eyes desire to see him. Those who saw him in front of their eyes, were lucky and they lost their words describing him.
The Imam talked about a woman who lost her three relatives in the battle of Uhud. But all of her grief was gone the moment she saw Muhammad (pbuh). He was cooler to the eyes and mind.
A narration about another woman describing Muhammad (pbuh) was also mentioned by the Imam. When Muhammad (pbuh) was migrating to Medina through desert and all the companions were very thirsty at some point. They encountered a woman’s tent and asked her if she has any date or milk to provide them. The woman has nothing to offer them At that moment, Muhammad (pbuh) saw a goat which belonged to the woman. The woman informed them that goad is very weak and cannot provide milk. Muhammad (pbuh) went to the goat and touched it’s udder. All of a sudden, the goat started giving milk and everyone was stunned. That weak goat was giving milk in abundance. All the companions drank that milk. When her husband came back home, he asked the woman how was that possible. She told him that a blessed person passed by their house that day and described everything. She described how gracious that man was. She only saw Muhammad (pbuh) for a moment.
One man fought Muhammad (pbuh) for 20 years but later he embraced Islam. After becoming Muslim, he never had the courage to Muhammad (pbuh)’s face straight.
When Muhammad (pbuh) talked, everyone kept silent. When he kept silent, everyone reflected upon his words. He was able to keep the movement towards Islam on. Imam told us about 22 people embraced Islam just by seeing his face. He was the bringer of peace in people’s mind.
The Imam asked us to learn more about our prophet Muhammad (pbuh). He dedicated his life for the goodness of the ummah. He encouraged us to teach our children to love Muhammad (pbuh). We can teach our kids love our prophet through books and games. Through the love for Muhammad (pbuh), they will become better muslim.
