Two days later…

Hello Hello! Has it really been two days since I’ve last posted anything?! Dang, time sure does fly by! Especially during spring break, which is what it currently is and I am loving every minute of it. ♥ What I am also loving, at the moment, is this recent (gorgeous) weather! Finally it’s starting to truly feel like Spring in NY — even if it’s happening towards the end of April, haha. But hey, better late than never, right?

So yes, speaking of nothing…that is exactly what I do not want this post to be, so let’s see what else there is to say…hmm…oh yeah! I’ve been discovering some new music, in both English & Japanese. This new song that I’ve just found tonight is by Alesso (feat. Nico & Vinz) and the song title is “I Wanna Know”. Being the EDM-fanatic that I am, it’s no surprise that I’m totally into this song. It’s so amazing! And it doesn’t even have to be such an fast-paced “raver” type of song — the mid-tempo sound of it just works. perfectly. I’ve gotta admit, though, I have no idea what’s going on in the video…like, what’s the story line, exactly? But hey, who cares! Because the song is amazing. (I’ve said that already, haven’t I?!) Listen for yourself!

Next up — the Japanese portion of my new music discoveries: FAKY. They are a four-piece girl group from Japan! And the band name stands for Five Ass Kicking Youngsters. Once you’ve listened to their music, or at least, this song I’m about to post in particular, I think you can totally see why. This year, though, I’ve just been seriously obsessed with girl groups! From E-girls, Happiness, 4MINUTE, Girls’ Generation, f(x)…they are all just so, so fierce! I also find it kinda funny how I listen to more girl groups than boy bands…Arashi is my #1 favorite Japanese boy band so I’m always following them along with their dramas & music. I kinda can’t help it, though, because I love those boys so much! And don’t even get me started with Mr. Jun Matsumoto. ❤ ANYWAY. back to FAKY! The song I’m currently obsessed with is called “Candy” and it’s a banger. See for yourself!

Now, for some closing thoughts — since Wednesday’s pretty much come & gone, I am already super excited for the weekend to get here! I’m seriously hoping, by then, to satisfy my craving of Chinese food & Subway sandwiches. LOL. For real, tho. The struggle of craving your favorite foods is very very real. And I don’t wish them upon anyone. Anyhow! I’d say that’s it for tonight! I’ll be updating again real soon, for anyone out there who’s actually reading this! haha!
