Hi Gid: I beg to differ with you. Everything that you put in your body either thru food or whatever else someone might ingest has to go thru the Krebs cycle to make oxygen. Now, I am not an expert at all on the Krebs cycle but I when I studied it in nursing school it left an impression. My teacher, for her final exam, had to take every ingredient in a Snickers bar thru the Krebs cycle. If the body can’t turn it into oxygen, in the end, it has to go somewhere until it can be removed (thru urine, stool or respiration). The body is not made for man-made chemicals, even if it is in a “nano amount” it builds up if it is in other foods you eat. Aspartame came out in the middle 1980’s. The San Fransico Chronicle did a 5-day profile on the sugar substitute. It caused all kinds of problems with people. It messed with the endocrine system, caused headaches and a year after it came on the market there was an increase in brain tumors. Even though they claimed it was harmless it was put in almost everything that was eaten therefore the levels were higher than what was tested for approval. One small pesticide may not cause a big issue but with all the various types that are used so that food will last longer so the farmers don’t lose money — justifying that it won’t harm a person is a terrible defense.
