You and Your Emotions

When an emotion is triggered, what actually happens?

Emotions is meant to help us live, actualize and act a little bit better. They’re results mechanized to let us know if something is good or bad, cry or laugh, right or wrong- nothing really.

Your emotions are part of your life but not really all the part of your life. For example, your favourite in a movie was shot dead and pheew that’s all, next thing you felt like crying and really it doesn't matter to you even when you cried. If at the moment you feel good, don't get carried away by it because at next you might feel bad, it’s all emotion, don't act on it… they’re passer-by and not there to stay.

Dont give in to your emotions. Actually so many people tend to live their life according to various personal, social, parental or cultural reasons- especially on a negative mode.

A philosopher once said “whatever makes us happy will no longer makes us happy tomorrow”. Yo get that jerk? like a fixation on a situation will or might later leads to tears(good/bad).

God When?

So many of you will not stop using the phrase “God when” especially when your uncontrollable emotions has led you to lavish all your money and led your bank to a bankrupt mode. One reason why you will never be contented whatsoever mode you find yourself.

Bought the latest car weeks ago because your emotion wants the latest ride even when you have more in your parks and months later is another favourite brand latest ride so your emotion is coming to ask you to do the same and you end up realising that that same feeling won’t stop coming as the latest ride also won’t stop coming.

This is what the Psychologists referred to as ‘hedonic treadmill’: always wanting to change and end up never feeling different.

NOTE: Whatever makes you feel good will definitely somehow still makes you feel bad… Learn to train and build your emotions.
