Organizing my life like a #GIRLBOSS

The #GIRLBOSS ethos is more than a trend; it’s a call to action for women to take control of their lives, pursue their ambitions, and live with intention.

As a woman who has embraced this mindset, I’ve learned to organize my life in a way that aligns with my goals, values, and aspirations.

So in this blog post, I’ll share my personal journey and the strategies I’ve used to live like a #GIRLBOSS.

FYI — the execution system that I use to make consistent $10k month working less than 6 hours a week is launching soon, and you can get insider early bird discount code by signing up for a 19 mins intro video (10 mins if you play at 2x speed LOL)

Part 1: Claiming My Identity

The first step in organizing my life was embracing the #GIRLBOSS mindset, which is all about self-awareness, confidence, and determination.

I remember the moment I read the book “GIRLBOSS” by Sophia Amoruso and felt a deep resonance with its message. It was a turning point, a call to take control of my narrative and my future.

Understanding my core values was crucial in setting the foundation for how I would organize my life.

I spent time reflecting on what truly mattered to me — minimal work, maximise results, passive income, highly effective products and automatic marketing and delivery. These values became my compass, guiding every decision I made.

Part 2: Setting Bold Goals

With my values in place, I began to envision my future, setting ambitious yet achievable goals for my personal and professional life.

I created a vision that represented my dreams and aspirations, from starting my own business to traveling the world or staying at home reading / learning with a hot cup of green tea latte. This visual representation of my goals was a daily reminder of what I was working towards.

As a #GIRLBOSS, I knew I had to break down any barriers that stood in the way of my goals, whether they were self-imposed or external.

I had to confront my own fears and doubts, as well as navigate societal expectations. Each challenge I overcame was a step towards the person I wanted to be.

One of the biggest challenges is to overcome my shiny object syndrome. I used to spread myself thin trying to tackle a dozen strategies at once. Now, with my focused execution system, I’ve found the secret to accomplishing more by doing less.

I learned that focus is the key to productivity. By honing in on one task or goal at a time, I’ve been able to achieve better results with less stress.

My system is built on the principle of single-tasking. It involves identifying the most critical task, clearing distractions, and dedicating a specific time to complete it.

Step 1: identify the key priority task This is the task that will bring you closest to your immediate goal or has the most significant impact on your progress.

Step 2: Next, eliminate distractions. This might mean turning off your phone, closing unnecessary tabs, or finding a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted.

Step 3: Schedule dedicated time for this task. Block out a period on your calendar where you commit to working on nothing else but your priority task.

Step 4 (optional): Use time management techniques like the Pomodoro Technique (if I feel needed). Work for a set period, like 25 minutes, then take a short break. This can help maintain your focus and energy.

This is just one of the mini systems implanted in my execution system that I’ve been using for years now. It keeps me focused on the tasks that really move the needle forward so that I make sure each steps I take would bring me closer to my goals.

One more thing before we move on, after you’ve completed the task, reflect on the process. Did the system work? What can be improved? Adjust your approach for the next task to make your system even more effective.

This has proven to be hugely beneficial and I also have this implanted in my execution system, which I have now organised for anyone who would like more clarity and certainty and focus in execution to install the system too.

Part 3: Creating a Structured Plan

Organizing my life required a structured plan, with clear priorities and a schedule that allowed me to focus on what mattered most.

I started using a strategic Notion planner to map out my days, weeks, and months (also included in my execution system).

This helped me allocate time for work, personal development, and self-care, ensuring a balanced approach to life.

I established flexible routines — Routines provided consistency and predictability, making it easier to maintain momentum towards my goals, but also flexible enough so that I focus on the right strategic thing

Part 4: Cultivating Financial Intelligence

As a #GIRLBOSS, financial independence was non-negotiable. I made it a priority to understand and manage my finances effectively.

I dedicate time and budget to educate myself on budgeting, investing, and saving. I also schedule monthly financial review on my Freedom Portfolio.

I committed a portion of my income to building a Freedom Portfolio — which I only need around 5 mins each month to monitor and manage (everything works automatically and basically I only need to have a look each month to review progress). This not only provided a safety net but also gave me peace of mind and financial freedom.

Part 5: Prioritizing Self-Care

Being a #GIRLBOSS also meant understanding the importance of self-care and making it a non-negotiable part of my life.

I realized that taking care of my physical, mental, and emotional health was not a luxury but a necessity.

This led me to prioritize activities like yoga, swimming, meditation, and spending time in nature (I literally schedule walking in nature every day for an hour after lunch to recharge).

Building and maintaining strong relationships was another key aspect of organizing my life like a #GIRLBOSS.

I made time for friends and family (basically all of weekends and extra 1–2 week’s time off each quarter for travel. These relationships became a source of strength and inspiration.

In conclusion, organizing my life like a #GIRLBOSS has been a transformative journey that involved embracing a strong mindset, setting bold goals, creating a structured plan, cultivating financial intelligence, and prioritizing self-care.

By living with intention and purpose, I’ve been able to create a life that is both fulfilling and aligned with my values.

Hope this gives you permission to live life more on your terms.
