It’s the Social Justice exceptions that should try some old rules.

Remember the Election?
All we heard was, “equality, equality, #EQUALITY! Treat us no differently!” Majority America actually wasn’t treating them differently. Nevertheless they were yelling at the ”racists, homophobes and men”.
Now the same people shriek, “notice me, notice me, NOTICE ME! We are a special group- different, oppressed, discriminated, loved.” #Hypocrisy
The lunacy of those screaming is they do not need to be noticed for what group they identify with for survival. Hint-Worth is not what others see them as. Yet, they put themselves there. If they must wear what group they belong to on their sleeve, who exactly needs whom?
Our Laws protect citizens in America. This is true regardless of X or Y chromosome, #LBGT or #Race. So what must they be noticed for?
Disclosure: I had to pick a Party in my home State to vote in Primaries. I lived just fine the years without a political label. In fact, once upon a time at social gatherings it was considered very bad taste to even bring the topic up. The days of losing the labels of the “special” one was something young adults used to embrace. We dropped the notoriety of what school was attended or what part of town we did or did not grow up in. When we morphed to adulthood we happily shed the labels and chose to be the worker among workers. It was liberating and exhilarating. It is easy to see in hindsight how those labels created a very small world.
Those days are long gone. How we completely flipped from one generation to the next will be a future blog.
Disclosure: I’m sold out, live daily and converse with many groups who I do not feel the need for you to understand that I am in. They know. That is enough.
Maybe the ‘never happy’ in the Social Justice Tides could try for a little while to shift their perception. Instead of differences they clamor to be noticed for uniting their tribe/group/life, they should see the similarities they share with all other fellows.
Instead of choosing one Alt or the other try to cue up #StuckInTheMiddleWithYou by Stealers Wheel.
We are ONE Nation under God. Everyone should try walking that out. Everyone should take care of their own yard. And go light up their own corner with the ember from within, not a torch, pepper spray or bat. Try.
