My oh my!!! Hadassash thrills me once again with this piece. To answer your question, I experienced this evil for two straight years in my life and that was when I gained admission into The Polytechnic Ibadan. There was no potable water but that was not even the worst thing. Guess what, there was no toilet either. As if this wasn’t bad enough, there was no electricity. In the first few months, I was acting like a big boy; constantly taking my dirty laundry to Lagos every weekend. After some time, I began to feel the bite of these frequent trips and had to adapt to life without potable water and the other things I mentioned.
