Jordan was feeling very left out as he roamed around the village of Alwar all by himself while all the other kids enjoyed themselves. For one, Jordan found it difficult to make friends easily and also all the other kids were finding it somewhat uncomfortable to adjust to a new face.

Jordan has come from Delhi for the wedding of his father’s best friend Dinay chachaji and was finding it difficult to manage his time in the absence of compatible companionship.

As he was looking over the mountains sitting on an elevated rock, he saw a girl coming towards the rock while chasing a goat and he started thinking of the possible ways to convince the girl who looked his age to show him around the mountains as he was afraid of pursuing the road alone. Since only his father had come with him to the wedding and was busy in the wedding preparations, no one will notice his absence.

The girl approached him herself and she looked quite furious of Jordan already and he at once dropped all his plans and hopes from the girl. Apparently Jordan was trespassing on the girl’s self-proclaimed property and ownership rights of ‘Manjhi’ were transferred back to the girl who introduced herself as ‘Reshma’. Now that the girl had regained claim to her property, Jordan found her quite interesting and funny as she told him about the various places in the village and shared fun-stories. The girl at her own suggestion took Jordan to the nearby mountains and they even challenged each other to races. They met many invited guests going to the village for the wedding and guided them towards the venue as well. It was only while they were playing hide-n-seek in the evening and it was starting to get dark did Jordan realise that he should have been back by now. He called out to the girl to return back but she was nowhere to be found and only when all his summons went unanswered that he ran back to the village to raise an alarm.

As he ran headfast towards the village, he was encountered by his panicked father who scolded him by saying-“why are all the guests telling me that you were roaming in the mountains all by yourself?”
