We have an understanding as a society of the basic tenants of major religions like Christianity, Islam, Hinduism etc, but what about those who directly seek after dark spirituality? Surely there are some. Are there many? Are they organized? Would we know? What does dark spirituality offer? Power in exchange for sacrifice? How many people might make that trade provided the means? Power, fortune or fame in exchange for what? Your soul? The soul of others? The life of others? The potential of others to know or follow Christ?
When dealing in dark spirituality who exactly is one bargaining with and what motivates them?

How long has underground occult worship been prevalent? How many centuries? Or millennia?
The culture of each of the major religions is upfront and public about their beliefs, mission, recruitment of new members, etc.
