The next war, will be between the US and Russia, it will go nuclear very quickly and A10’s will not protect US troops from nuclear weapons fired from great distance.

The air force will concentrate on attacking Russian missile sites and aircraft.

It will be a stand off war, because Russian air defenses are formidable, A10’s would have lifespans of minutes inside Russia.

It will be totally different to recent US wars, against 3rd world countries.
