Harsh Singh

Behind (Left): Manan Mishra, Chairman, Bar Council of India. Elected for the 3rd straight term as BCI Chairman.

Q. As the Chairman of the Bar Council of India, I want to know what do you think about the lawyers taking the law into their hands? I know you’ve apologized on behalf of BCI (Bar Council of India) but what actions has been taken till now? (Kanhaiya Kumar, JNUSU President and 3 Journalists were attacked).

Mr Mishra replied, “Bar Council of India has condemned the attack. We have set up a committee under the former Judge to look into the matter. We have warned the lawyers. As a chairman, I have nothing more to say. Thank you. I have a flight to catch”.

I think love means acceptance.

By accepting, you are proving that you can love every part of something or someone without caring about their flaws or disabilities. You tend to see them as your definition of perfection and being around them, makes you happy.

We should be accepting each and every person in the world as our own by not bringing them down or showing we are greater than them.

With care, we can have acceptance. With acceptance, we can sustain love in the world.

In this life, you’ll meet many kinds of people that will somehow change your life. They might be your best friends, family, loved ones, enemies, mean people — you name it.

Those people might (or already have) left behind memories, moments, and lessons for you to remember at some level in your mind.

And you might want to hold on to them no matter what — because it felt foreign to not have people you’re close to by your side, but not everything we do in life is permanent.

We grow and get parted sometimes. If we’re lucky, we’ll meet again. And if we aren’t, I’ll have you to know that I am thankful that your existence had once been a part of my life.
