Deservedness

People thought the end of the world would happen overnight. It was actually a series of preventable events — like the election of President Trump in 2016, the collapse of the Dollar in 2023, and the famine of 2036 — that led to the end of modern civilization. But in all reality, the people of the 21st century were doomed long before that.

We know that now.

You see, the self-esteem movement of the 1970s triggered it all. Generation after generation breeding more and more entitlement. The planet could only sustain people’s egos for so long.

But everyone was so proud of their trophy…
