Making the Most of the P2A
- Tip: Just play “normally” and have fun. The points allocation is designed to reward players who progress deeply into the game.

- Accessibility: You don’t need to be a pro gamer, but Sipher Odyssey is not a click-to-earn idle game or auto-battler.
- Points Allocation: Most points are awarded for reaching account level 40, collecting 12 vessel sub-races, clearing game milestones at corrupted 10, and completing daily quests. This can be easily achieved by playing for 1 hour each day.
- Leaderboards: Points for leaderboard rankings are harder to earn. As an average player, you might not top the leaderboards, but you’ll complete most of the milestones and earn the bulk of the points just by playing the main story mode (World Exploration) and Survival mode (Endless Anarchy).
Strategies
Strategy 1 — Difficult (For Serious Gamers, >2–3 hrs Daily)
Most won’t fall into this category. It requires skill and time to participate in tournaments, earn capsule keys, craft good gear, build your augment deck, and excel in various game modes. While the rewards are also the greatest, the effort and time required are the highest. By participating in all daily quests and consistently ranking in the top 50 on the leaderboard, you can earn about 327,500 points — the highest possible score attainable by playing the game for most people.
Strategy 2 — Easy Attainable (For Average Gamers/Farmers, ~1 hr Daily)
For the average crypto gamer or farmer willing to spend some time playing and enjoying the rogue-lite looter shooter genre. As a 35-year-old who hasn’t played many video games in the past decade, I find this strategy attainable. Playing 1 hour daily is easily manageable, with occasional longer sessions driven by addiction. Assuming no participation in tournaments or leaderboard competitions, you can earn 171,650 out of the highest possible 327,500 points with much less time and skill investment.
Strategy 3 — Very Casual (For Very Casual Gamers, ~30 mins Daily)
This is for casual gamers wanting to have fun while exploring a crypto game. Some daily quests are quick and easy to complete (except Arena mode, which is PvPvE). Most points can be earned by hitting the easy game milestones, which don’t require daily commitment. Play as you wish and reach these milestones in a few days. You may also skip time-consuming daily quests and play only when you have time. You can easily hit milestones (Aggressive 10, collect 9 sub-races, account level 30) to earn 86,500 base points out of the highest possible 327,500 points.
Multipliers
Multipliers reward $SIPHER token and Genesis Sipher NFT holders with an additional 400% of their base points (if they have 100k base points, they will earn 500k points in total after multipliers).
Holding at least 5,000 $SIPHER tokens ($1,250 at today’s price) or Genesis Sipher NFTs (depending on rarity, ~$2,500) significantly boosts your points. Holding 10+10 Genesis Sipher Inu and Neko NFTs also gives you 100,000 points passively. Get 10% additional multipliers when you sign up for an AtherLabs account through any Sipher Ambassadors or hold a partnering project NFT such as the BoredX Sipher Spaceships. Some project partner NFTs gives 20% multipliers (not yet announced).
I find these multipliers very worthwhile. They significantly enhance your points, and there may be a rush to get these multipliers towards the end of P2A, so do acquire the Genesis Sipher NFTs (Sipher Inu and Sipher Nekos) and $SIPHER tokens early (link to 1inch DEX aggregator). Additionally, I believe Sipher will become a top crypto game, making these tokens a good proxy investment in the game’s and studio’s future success.

Should I Play with Multiple Accounts?
No. Based on the point mechanics, it is more cost and time-effective to progress deeply into the game rather than splitting accounts — attaining account level 40, owning 12 unique vessel sub-races, completing the story mode, and playing daily. Subsequently, you should aim to be on the top leaderboards. While you are allowed to play multiple accounts, this may not be a viable strategy unless you have many NFTs, split them into multiple accounts, and actively play each account. Financial and time costs are involved, and there is no free lunch here.
